My Gold Medal Award Speech
Because the Olympics have been on today in class we had to write a speech to thank all our supporters.
A huge thanks to all my fans and supporters, everyone for coming today. I never thought it would make it this far. I thought it was unachievable for me to win a gold medal even to get into the Olympics but I guess you never know until you try. People have been doubting me for years and to go where you want to go or to get what we want to get you need to put hard work in and when I finally made it into the Olympics I wasn't going to waste my chance. It's amazing for the two others who won silver, bronze but not so fortunate for the others because the rest of the people did not win any medals. I also want to say thankyou to my mum and dad, my brother and sister and all the rest of my family to help me get in the position that I'm in now without them in my life I would never ever be in this position. This Olympics turned out really good for me. I won a gold medal and now I'm gonna take it home to NZ Along with the other NZ gold medal winners. To the rest of people did not win any medals. Better luck next time.
