The bell rang and I went to class and Mr Redmond took us to the school swimming pool and we waited for our turn so we waited the first and second block and the third block it was my turn and I stepped up to the podium and Nigiel said on your marks get set go and then he clapped the blocks and I jumped of and I started swimming as fast as I could. Ruebin and I were really really close and at the end he just bet me. So Ruebin came 1st I came 2nd and Riley came 3rd and to go to zones was 1st and 2nd so ruebin and I went to zones. After the race I was really happy because it was my first time but also nervous because I didn't know what would happen
